“…that in everything Christ might have the supremacy”
Our congregation is Presbyterian and Reformed. More specifically we are part of the Free Church of Scotland. However, people from nearly all traditions and many different countries choose to worship with us while in London.
The demographics of the congregation reflect London: people are constantly arriving and departing. This sometimes makes organisation difficult, but means newcomers are quickly integrated into the life of the congregation. If the person sitting next to you doesn’t welcome you its probably because they are waiting for you to welcome them!
We have a morning and evening worship service every Sunday, as well as an evening prayer meeting. We have creche and Sunday School classes for children in the morning.
Our pastor is Rev Andy Pearson, and we have 5 additional elders and 4 deacons. We also have a full time Women’s Worker and others who serve in a voluntary capacity.
As a congregation of the Free Church of Scotland, we belong to the Presbyterian and Reformed family of churches. As such we are committed to the Biblical truths that have been carefully articulated in the Westminster Confession of Faith, to which our leaders all subscribe.
Our congregation was founded in 1949 and has been through several changes of name and places of worship since.
