Worship God

Services

Our services last about an hour and consist of bible reading, prayer and a sermon. Due to CV19 restrictions we are unable to distribute bibles or service sheets, but resources that you can print at home or access on your phone will be available. Please visit our services or CV19 pages for more information. If you have any questions at the church one of our stewards will be happy to assist you.

Style of Worship

Due to current CV19 restrictions we are unable to sing together at services. Instead, one of our musicians will play songs of the Bible, called Psalms, or God-centred, gospel driven Hymns. The words will be available to print at home, or view online so that the congregation can read along. (People watching the livestream at home are still allowed to sing!)

Crèche

Unfortunately, due to current CV19 restrictions our crèche facilities are not available. Normally, we would have a selection of toys and books, and a rota of DBS checked volunteers to look after our babies and toddlers. There will be a place available for nursing mothers to feed their babies.

Sunday School

Due to current CV19 restrictions we are unable to run our Sunday School classes. Worksheets for pre-school, and school-aged children will be available each week to print at home and bring to church so that kids can complete them during the service. A number of Sunday School videos can also be found on our YouTube channel.

Tea & Coffee

Due to current CV19 restriction we are unable to serve tea and coffee after the service. Instead the stewards encourage the congregation to exit the building immediately after the service, then move round to Postman’s Park where we can chat together in the open air, while continuing to observe social distancing.

Fellowship Lunch

Once a month we used to host a lunch after the morning service where we always had more than enough food to share. It was a great opportunity to spend more time with each other and get to know visitors. Due to current CV19 restrictions we are unable to hold the lunches but look forward to being able to do so again in the future.

We’d love for you to join us this Sunday
