One of our members, Maisie, left the UK yesterday to start an internship with International Justice Mission – a human rights organisation that seeks to protect the poor from violence in the developing world.
Having completed a law degree earlier this year, Maisie recently spent a week at IJM’s head office in Washington DC for training and orientation. She will now be based at their South Asia office for nearly 12 months.
Please pray for Maisie as she adapts to life in a new country and culture. Pray for the work that she and her colleagues will be involved in, and that International Justice Mission will be effective in their aim of rescuing, and protecting, the vulnerable from violence and oppression across the world.
