Mary Plays Harp

Mary Plays Harp

Mary is one of our Sunday School teachers.  She is also an up and coming harpist who has studied in Los Angeles and Chicago, and is currently completing her studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Our church calendar always has details of Mary’s upcoming concerts – and because she plays with several orchestras, trios and ensembles around London (and beyond!) there are always a variety to choose from.

Tomorrow at 1.05pm, Mary is playing in a concert at the David Josefowitz Recital Hall at the Royal Academy of Music. The Heart of King David will include works by Britten, Howells, and Vaughn Williams to name just a few.  Psalms from the Bible will also be included, and the concert is free!

Next Tuesday at 1pm, Mary will be playing another free concert at Heath Street Baptist Church in Hampstead. French Chamber Music for flute, clarinet, string quartet and harp will feature works by Ravel and Debussy. You can bring your lunch, and tea and coffee will be served at 12.45pm. All are welcome – especially children – and you can come and go as you please.

Keep an eye on the calendar and the church bulletin sheet for future concert dates.  You can also visit Mary’s own website for more information:
