Our Twenties & Thirties group got together again last Saturday. They met in the church, and the larger venue allowed for some larger instruments to accompany the worship. With Mary on the harp, Kane and Leandro on guitar, and Jack on piano the hymns were sounding pretty good…
The speaker for the evening was one of our elders, Brad Bitner, who gave an overview of a section of 1 Corinthians (which he just so happens to have written a book about!)
After Brad’s talk and a time of discussion and questions, some of the group went out for dinner at a nearby Pizza Express. This served two purposes – to spend more time together, and also to give our friend Wendy a proper send off before she sadly had to return to the USA.
