On Sunday morning Gabriel Amorim was ordained as an elder of London City Presbyterian Church. Originally from Brazil, Gabriel has been living in London and working as a software engineer for the past 3.5 years. He and his wife Sodreia originally went to a Brazilian church, but for the past year have been attending LCPC.
Gabriel has already been very involved in our Twenties & Thirties group and has preached at a few of our evening services. He looks forward to being even more involved in the spiritual leadership of the congregation from now on. One of his first duties as elder will be to attend the Free Church of Scotland’s General Assembly in Edinburgh next week.
