What do you get when two Dutch Canadians host a meal for two Koreans, a Ghanian, an American, an English woman and a handful of Scots? A Burns Supper of course!
On January 25th, Ria and Laura provided a feast of haggis, neeps and tatties, followed by cranachan for dessert. Some were experiencing these foods for the first time, but everyone was keen to tuck in – even those who thought haggis was made out of bat! (And everyone enjoyed second helpings).
The next day, Ayasha had invited members of the youth group to join her in celebrating her birthday. A visit to the Science Museum was arranged, followed by a trip to Chinatown for food and bubble tea.
