Fellowship Lunch

Fellowship Lunch

On Sunday we had another of our monthly church lunches. As always there was plenty food, and we also enjoyed hearing from two of our congregation who are involved in Christian work.

janeeFirst up was Jané who works for Tearfund. She told us a little about her role – the encouragements, the challenges, and also things we could pray for. Jané hopes to travel to Cambodia and Bangladesh next month so we look forward to hearing about that at a lunch in the future!

hiroshiOver dessert we heard from Hiroshi who works for the Japanese Reformed Church. He runs a Japanese bible study in the church building every Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm. In addition, he holds meetings and studies in other parts of London, and also travels regularly to Amsterdam to pastor a fellowship there.  (If you can read Japanese you can visit his website for more information).

With it being Ki and Yu-En’s last Sunday at LCPC there were lots of goodbyes to be said, and lots of photographs to be posed for.  A group shot was taken of those who’d been able to stay right to the end of the lunch.  Even with people missing, hopefully it’s something they will be able to remember us by!

* Thanks to Ji Hyun for the video, and Yu-En and Marianne for the photographs featured in this post.
