We were all relieved to find the sun shining on Saturday morning as it meant our congregational outing to Hyde Park would not be a wash out. The plan was to meet at the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain which took some people longer to find than others!
It was a relaxed, informal day where people were free to come and go as they wanted. Some stayed all day, others an hour or two. Some people went boating, some to the cafe, some relaxed and sunbathed, while others enjoyed frisbee, rounders and football. Despite the lack of forecast rain, some people still got completely soaked while paddling!
Special thanks to Laura for organising the outing – and for baking almost 100 cookies for us all to enjoy!
