This past Saturday we were delighted to have Rev Alasdair MacAulay and his wife, Mairi, join with us from Tain and Fearn Free Church for our congregational Day Away.
We met in the head offices of London City Mission, near Tower Bridge, where we enjoyed a great day of worship, teaching, prayer and fellowship. Alasdair spoke to us all in the morning and then we spent time praying over matters specific to our congregation, and also remembering the work in Tain and Fearn.
In the afternoon we split into groups. While Mairi spoke to the women, the men played football in the nearby park with all the children before swapping over so Ali could speak again to the men – and the women could enjoy the sunshine! Finally, we all came together for a final time of praise.
Thank you to everyone who came along, helped organise, and served on the day. Our next congregational social activity will be a BBQ on 8th July. Please contact us for further details.
