On Saturday 3 August, Gavin and Phoebe got married! After getting engaged at the start of the year, Phoebe had spent several months back in Canada planning their wedding from afar. It’s safe to say she did an amazing job.
Family and friends from Canada and Scotland (and plenty other places too!) had flown in to witness the wedding ceremony at LCPC, where Gavin and Phoebe first met in 2010. After photographs in Postman’s Park, the newlyweds went off for more pictures to be taken at some of London’s most famous landmarks while their guests boarded a classic Routemaster bus that took them to the reception at The Dorchester.
Following a delicious meal there were speeches, a slideshow which included various embarrassing baby photos, and finally, a spectacular dance routine put together by Phoebe’s cousins!
Please pray for Gavin and Phoebe, and their future together. Phoebe has had to return to Vancouver again for a few months, and Gavin has started a new job in Aberdeen. Please remember them especially while they have to spend this time apart.
