In November last year, Benjamin and Joanna (pictured above with their 2 year old son, Zechariah) began to worship regularly with us so that Benj could complete a student placement at LCPC as part of his course at Oak Hill College. The congregation have enjoyed getting to know the family over this time and in February, Benj and Jo formally joined LCPC as members.
Benj was born and brought up in England (with a couple of years in Romania!) and met Jo, from Scotland, at university in Manchester. Jo is in the process of completing a PhD, and she and Benj are expecting their second child in May.
At our last communion in March, we were also pleased to welcome Amber (from the United States) and Ijidai (from Nigeria) into membership with us. Amber is currently a student on a counselling course, and Ijidai works as an electronic engineer.
We thank God for continuing to bring new people to our congregation, and pray that they will be blessed during their time with us.
