At the end of October, LCPC hosted an inter-church youth event with the well known apologist and author, Dr John Blanchard. He looked at Philippians 2 v 1 – 13 and spoke on the challenge there for us all to pursue biblical holiness.
Some of the churches represented on the night were Grove Chapel, IPC Ealing, and even Bethel Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania, USA! After the service there was a chance to chat and get to know new people over tea and coffee. Dr Blanchard had also brought copies of his new book Why Are You Here? and several of us took advantage of the chance to pick up a copy or two, or three…
Next week our pastor, Andy, will be speaking at the Banner South East Youth Conference at Grove Chapel. We look forward to this opportunity to meet together again, to worship, and to learn more about God.
