On 18 October, a group of 20 from LCPC attended the London Presbyterian Conference at Regent Hall, Oxford Street. All enjoyed excellent teaching from the four main conference speakers (Ligon Duncan, Ian Hamilton, Bill Schweitzer and Andrew Young) and all enjoyed the opportunity to meet and fellowship with people from several congregations across England and Wales.
The following day, we were pleased to have Rev Hugh Ferrier (from Thurso and North Coast Free Church) lead our communion service. We were blessed with some new members, and our own pastor, Andy, had the privilege of baptising Adrian. This was the second adult baptism that the congregation have witnessed this year, and it was a joyful occasion. Adrian is pictured below with his wife, Layla, and two of our new members, Tim and Belinda.
