In September, our Sunday School children took a trip to the historic Tower of London. Unfortunately, on the day, several of the children were unwell, but those who were able to make it had a thoroughly good time. Some were keen to see the crown jewels, while others were more interested in the armoury, so they split into groups to try and cover as much ground as possible.
In addition to admiring priceless gems and weapons, and trying to spot the famous ravens, there were lots of interesting characters to bump into – all with exciting stories to tell. However, none compared to the exciting truths of the Gospel that the children will be learning more of in Sunday School each week. Please pray for them and their teachers.
A huge thank you goes to all those in the congregation who donated vouchers which allowed every person on the trip to access the Tower for free! The children (and adults!) greatly appreciated it.
