On Friday evening over 20 us gathered for the LCPC Ladies’ Dessert Night. Once again, we met in Margaret’s flat in Southwark, which provided us with a fabulous view of The Shard while we enjoyed delicious puddings.
With several cakes, mousses, cheesecakes and traybakes to choose from there were enough desserts for seconds, thirds and maybe even fourths! Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with each other – and even meet some new people for the first time.
In addition to eating and chatting, there was the opportunity to learn more about, and donate to, this year’s Women for Mission project – Encouraging Education. Over £200 was raised – with more donations to come.
