Easter Egg Hunt 2018

Easter Egg Hunt 2018

On one of the coldest and wettest Easter Sundays that we’ve had for years, it was still possible for some of our creche and Sunday School children to take part in the annual LCPC Egg Hunt in Postman’s Park after the morning service.

This year the rules had changed, and the first person to find a small toy chick would be the winner of the grand golden egg. It did not take long for the prize to be claimed, but there were some runners up prizes for everyone else who found a chick, and dozens of chocolate treats to be found for those who didn’t.

As always, we had leaflets from The Good Book Company with Bible verses, puzzles and questions for all the children who took part to help them think more about the true meaning of Easter.
