This year we hosted a Good Friday service and were joined by friends from IPC Ealing, All Nations Ilford, Immanuel Church Brentford and Christ Church Romford, as well as visitors from all over the world. It was a joy to worship together and we were reminded of Christ’s work of salvation on the cross in the sermon preached by our pastor, Rev Andy Pearson. After the service there was the chance to enjoy fellowship together, with some even taking the opportunity to enjoy a picnic in the adjacent Postman’s Park.
On Easter Sunday, our congregation gathered together again to worship our risen Saviour. Following the service we had our monthly fellowship lunch where we were able to catch up with each other and get to know visitors better.
The children enjoyed our annual Easter Egg Hunt and spent quite a lot of time searching for over 100 eggs hidden outside the church. As always, each child who participated was given a booklet explaining the true meaning of Easter to take home with them – as well as all their chocolate!
