New Members

A few weeks ago we welcomed 6 new members to London City Presbyterian Church. They were all formally introduced to the congregation and took vows together before being prayed for by our pastor.

Song and Julia (pictured above with their two boys) have been worshipping with us since last summer. Song is a student at Oak Hill College and has been doing his placement at LCPC. Originally from Taiwan, Song grew up in the UK and he and Julia (from England) met while studying in Sheffield. Song plans to begin a Masters at Oak Hill after the summer. He and Julia are currently considering their long term future and discerning where God may be calling them.

Having first completed a Masters at the London School of Economics, we were all delighted when Jack (from the USA) was able to return to London as a PHD student for several more years. A gifted piano player, Jack regularly accompanies the worship at LCPC and organises the music rota. He also serves on the 20s & 30s committee.

Sebastian is from Colombia and is doing a doctorate degree on Sociology of Mental Health at the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Kings College London. He has a keen interest in apologetics and theology, and recently spoke at one of our 20s & 30s meetings on the subject of spiritual maturity.

Not pictured are Jeremy (from England) and Anne Marie (from Denmark).

Please pray for all our new members and join us in giving thanks to God for them.
