New Members

On Sunday morning the congregation were delighted to welcome a new member to London City Presbyterian Church.

Calum (pictured above with his wife Jan who is already a member) has been a familiar face and a friend to many for several years while attending services at LCPC back when it was known as Cole Abbey, then services in Cobham, before coming back to LCPC in 2015.

The news that Calum had professed faith in Jesus Christ brought great joy to us all. There may even have been a few people shedding happy tears as our pastor, Andy Pearson, presented Calum with a bible and prayed for him before the congregation.

We also recently welcomed Rafael & Kellen in to membership with us. Originally from Bento Gonçalves in Brazil, Rafa works as a data engineer for a travel company and Kellen is a researcher for a marketing company. Rafa is also a keen photographer so most of the pictures featuring on this blog from now on will have been taken by him!

Finally, we welcomed Marketa who has been on placement with us from Oak Hill College for the past 6 months. Originally from Prague in the Czech Republic, Marketa is in her second and final year studying Theology for Crossing Cultures. She has been kept busy during her time with us by meeting one-to-one with some of the young women in the congregation, leading girls Bible Studies, helping organise 20s & 30s and various social events.

We praise God for all these new members!
