This past weekend at LCPC was a busy one – particularly if you were a child!
On Saturday, all the Sunday School and creche kids were invited (along with their parents, Sunday School teachers and creche volunteers) to a barbecue where there was a mountain of food to eat, table tennis and football to play, and lots of other ways to burn off energy.
Everyone appreciated the opportunity to spend more time together and enjoy each other’s company. Special thanks to Brad and Kathi for hosting us all, and to everyone who brought food or drink to share.
After the service on Sunday morning we had our monthly fellowship lunch, during which the annual Sunday School prize giving took place. Each child was presented with a book in recognition of their attendance over the past year, and all the work they had done.
As our Sunday School classes begin their new term, please pray for the children to grow in their knowledge of God, and that their teachers would be able to point them to Jesus Christ.
