On Friday night, some of the women of the congregation got together for dinner at Outside the Box in Islington. The food was fantastic, and it was the perfect place for the group to be able to chat and catch up with each other.
Our Women’s Worker, Marketa, gave a short talk on the topic of suffering and how, as Christians, we should respond to it biblically in our own lives. She left the group with some questions so they could discuss things further, which led to deeper and more meaningful conversations than would have been had at a purely social occasion.
Thank you to all the staff at Outside the Box for being so accommodating to our group, and especially for the complimentary fruit smoothies!
