It is with great reluctance that the Kirk Session is announcing that all congregational activities, including Sunday services, are to be suspended for an indefinite period. This decision was not taken lightly, but after much prayer and reflection, and with regard to our responsibilities to adhere to both governmental and denominational guidelines. In the circumstances we currently face, the elders are persuaded that this is the most prudent and appropriate measure.
The elders and deacons are working hard to provide an online worship service for this coming Lord’s Day. This short video gives more information:
A new pastoral strategy has been implemented in order to provide congregational support for this unusual situation. Members of the congregation will be placed in a relevant geographical group under the care of at least one elder and deacon. These office bearers are there to help under these trying circumstances, and should be your first point of church contact should any material or pastoral concerns arise. These men will be in touch with you in due course.
Please be assured that your elders care deeply for you, and are praying that you might know the nearness of God at this time.
Yours in Christ,
Rev Andy Pearson
